We do not offer face-to-face services at the store.

 

Repair/maintenance/custom order

  • We also accept repairs, maintenance, custom orders, and services other than those listed in the catalog.

  • Please feel free to contact us from "Contact Us" first.

  • Estimates and consultations are of course free of charge.

  • Please let us know the camera or lens, manufacturer name, model, and what you think is the problem.

  • We will contact you with a rough estimate.

  • If you decide to request maintenance or repair, please send the actual product to our workshop. (Customers are responsible for the shipping costs if they are sent by the customer.)

  • After the actual item arrives, we will contact you with an official estimate after confirming the actual item.

  • We will ask you to confirm the official estimate and decide whether to accept or cancel the repair.

  • In the case of cancellation, we will return the important items that have been kept in the current state.

  • If you agree, we will proceed with the repair. (The repair period is about 2 weeks, but you may have to wait a little longer during busy times.)

  • We will contact you when it is completed.

  • You can choose to pay by bank transfer, credit card, or Paypal.

  • We do not accept "​cash on delivery" payment for repairs, maintenance and custom order items.

  • After completion, we will ship the finished product.

  • ​​ Repairs and maintenance products are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of delivery of the product.

  • Paypal payment (credit card, debit card, bank account, each payment method) can be used. When paying by credit card with paypal, there is no need to enter card information, so it is a hassle-free, easy and safe payment method.   • Fukkokudo will bear the return shipping costs incurred when returning or exchanging defective products. Please send it back by cash on delivery.

  • If the product cannot be repaired due to various reasons, we will replace it with an equivalent product with the customer's approval.

  • Please note that due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept cancellations or returns due to the customer's preference.

  • Restore products come with a 6-month warranty. (According to Fukkokudo guarantee regulations)

  • *Initial failure refers to malfunctioning products that cannot be used during normal use, including spontaneous failures, and functional defects.

  • *Regarding the appearance and painting, due to the nature of the vintage second-hand one-of-a-kind item, any phenomenon within the allowable tolerance that may occur during the process will not be returned, refunded, or guaranteed.

  • ​ *For optical system parts, we use genuine parts at that time unless otherwise noted. All of them have gone through a cleaning and recycling process, but there are traces depending on the individual, but we have maintained it so that it does not affect the shooting at all. Please note that due to the nature of the product, optical system parts are not covered by returns or warranties.

  • *Things caused by each customer's senses, external appearance, painting, winding mechanism, shutter mechanism, helicoid mechanism, optical mechanism, "feels heavy, feels light, sound, feel, good or bad appearance, appearance" of these mechanisms There is a difference in the sense of each person, such as "quality of the product", so we will not be eligible for returns or guarantees due to its nature.

  • In the unlikely event that this product breaks down, we will repair it free of charge only for failures that occur during normal use for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • The customer is responsible for the shipping and handling charges when sending repaired products to the shop where the product was purchased or to our workshop.

  • When requesting repairs, be sure to include this warranty card with your request. If you do not present this warranty during the free repair period, or after the free repair period has passed, you will be charged for the repair.

  • If the name of the shop where you purchased the product or the date of purchase is not entered, or if they are corrected, the product will be invalid. If the name of the shop where you purchased the product and the date of purchase are not entered, please contact the shop where you purchased the product immediately, or attach a document such as a receipt issued by the shop that proves the purchase to this warranty card.

  • If the cause of failure is as follows, it will not be covered by the warranty and will be charged.

  • This warranty does not apply to malfunctions or damage caused by consumables such as film, or incidental items such as cases, straps, and lens caps.

  • We will not compensate for incidental damages (such as expenses required for shooting and loss of profits that should be obtained from shooting) caused by failure of this product.

  • Defects caused by customer negligence are not covered by the warranty.

  • ​ Appearance and painting are not covered by warranty due to the nature of used vintage items.

  • All the products we handle are second-hand one-of-a-kind items from half a century ago. We will work with sincerity and sincerity, but in rare cases, we may determine that repair is not possible due to factors such as the inability to procure parts, or as a result of verification of the actual repair item. Please note. In that case, you will not be charged for the repair fee, but you will be responsible for the return shipping fee.

  • In the event of an accident that impairs the function of the product due to an accident during repair, we will replace it with an equivalent product with the customer's approval.

  • Please be sure to take a test shot before taking an important photo. If there is a problem with shooting with the camera repaired at our shop, we can not take any responsibility for the damage.

  • We cannot guarantee anything that has been disassembled by the customer, so please be careful not to disassemble it yourself.

  • Please contact our workshop for repair and usage.

  • We are not responsible for any damage or malfunction of the product due to an accident during transportation after it has been shipped from our store. It becomes the compensation for the damage of the transportation company by regulation.

  • ​ Appearance and painting are not covered by warranty due to the nature of used vintage items.

  • This service is limited to Japan.
